Freyga

Freyga
Ruler of Netheros
Freyga was not born — she was called into existence.
She began as a fragment — a nameless spirit, drifting in the lifeless stillness of Limbo, the eternal wasteland between life and death. In Limbo, time has no meaning. Souls that are lost, unloved, or unremembered are left to dissolve into dust.
Freyga remained there too long.
But instead of fading, she hardened — grief becoming thought, thought becoming power. She clawed her way into identity, forging herself out of nothing but hatred, pain, and the will to be remembered.
She shattered the veil between realms and escaped into The Severance, a cosmic fracture beyond life and order. There, her arrival tore through deadspace — and caught the attention of a god.
A Pact with The Element
The Element, already imprisoned within The Severance, watched her with interest. While others feared death, Freyga sought to command it. While most begged for resurrection, she crafted her own afterlife.
He offered her purpose.
“Cleanse and contain the souls of the multiverse.
End the chaos of uncontrolled death.
Build a world where the forgotten rot forever beneath your heel.”
Freyga accepted.
In exchange for dominion over a world of her own, she pledged her service to The Element — not as a servant, but as a warden of souls. A living barrier between existence and peace.
She descended upon a ruined world in The Severance and reshaped it into Netheros — a realm of drifting spirits, skeletal monstrosities, and cursed memory.
There, Freyga reigns — not as a tyrant, but as a goddess of undeath, charged with keeping the multiverse’s dead contained, harvested, and weaponized.
But her hunger grows.
